Passover, or Pesach, is a festival of spring, also known as Chag HaAviv (Festival of Spring). The Torah highlights both the agricultural and historical aspects of Passover, showcasing a profound relationship between nature and history in the Bible's teachings.
In Israel, the festivals vividly reflect and echo the seasons. Spring marks the time when orange and lemon orchards burst into full bloom and bear fruit. It is fitting to have symbols of spring on the table; the yellow lemons and green foliage graphically celebrate the season. We delight inBarbara Shaw'snew design, aiming to reinterpret each festival in a fresh and perhaps slightly unconventional manner, with an emphasis on design and joy.
